Premixed feeds often provide micro-minerals iron, copper, zinc and selenium at levels which may not be suitable for a horses diet.

The addition of a mineral / vitamin mix will not top up or balance the calcium and phosphorus ratio.
We have included additional calcium and phosphorus at levels to suit horses and ponies with restricted access to quality pasture, essential to help maintain bones, joints and overall health.
'DIY-SMART-FEED, has been carefully prepared to supply a base which can help get you started.
Just add your own minerals as required.
If unsure the diet is meeting your horse or ponies needs then have it analyzed.
In some cases it may necessary to send away a blood sample for analysis.
This may be necessary if there are concerns about your horses health or performance.

How to prepare DIY-SMART-FEED™
Add enough clean water to cover the dry DIY in a bucket
Soak for 5-15 minutes (can be a few hours) before feeding for maximum benefits.
