The Hairy Pony Flat Waxed Horse Plating Thread is waxed for maximum grip & flattened for easy needle threading. Both Small & Large sizes are compatible with the reel function on Hairy Pony Plaiting Apron.
Large size measures 260m long / Small size measures 110m long.
The waxed coating on the thread helps to grip to the hairs of your horse's mane and more effectively hold the plait together than normal thread. The flat shape of the thread fits more easily through the eye of the needle and helps prevent pesky frayed edges.
