All natural digestible fibre and lucerne leaf meal.
High fibre, non-grain feed that provides you with a true and safe alternative to grain feeding.
- Provides a ‘cool’ source of energy to support moderate to high workloads or weight gain, without the risks associated with feeding cereal grains, including acidosis, laminitis and undesirable behaviour.
- Easily digested in the hindgut, it is a more natural feed for horses and can be used to replace part or all of the grain component in your horse’s ration.
- Contains absolutely no grain and has a very low sugar and starch content of less than 10%, making it suitable for laminitic, insulin resistant or cushing’s horses, as well as horses suffering with gastric ulcers and tying up.
Recommended Feeding Guide:
-
EasiFibre is not a complete feed and must be fed as part of a balanced ration.
-
Introduce into a horse’s ration gradually over 2 weeks.
-
Feed in conjunction with ample forage (pasture, hay and/or chaff).
-
Feed with an equal volume of chaff.
-
EasiFibre can be soaked to form a mash.
-
Adjust the amount fed so it is appropriate for a horse’s body fatness, stage of training, workload, pregnancy, lactation or development or rate of growth, along with the quality and quantity of forage available.
-
Divide feeds into two or more smaller meals if feeding more than 0.5 kg per 100 kg of bodyweight in ‘hard feed’ per day.
